The world of the hit television show Law & Order: Criminal Intent comes to life on the PC as players take on the role of Detective Robert Goren to investigate four all-new murder cases while taking the on the role of Detective Robert Goren. Actor Vincent D'Onofrio voices the character while you scrutinize the crime scenes, analyze evidence and interview witnesses and suspects. With beautifully rendered graphics and voices just like members of the show's cast, this thrilling 3rd person mystery adventure game will have players feeling like they've stepped into an actual episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Interrogate suspects in hopes of tracking down the elusive killer by utilizing Goren's instincts for interrogation by intimidating potential suspects into talking or take another approach. Solve intriguing, true-to-life murder mysteries in this adventure game, the 4th one based upon the popular Law & Order television series which, like the ones before it, features voice-overs by the actors and actresses from the show. Unlike the previous games, however, Criminal Intent is played using a 3rd person perspective rather than 1st.

Players will control the persona of New York Detective Robert Goren as he hits the streets in search of the killers. Use modern day investigative tricks of the trade to communicate and analyze information and evidence. Choose the manner in which Goren questions witnesses and suspects to try and get answers to important questions during interrogations: confrontational, deceptive, flattering, deceptive, straightforward and empathetic. Using your instinctive powers of deduction, put everything together to build criminal profiles and "get inside the mind" of the murderers.

As Goren, players will need to investigate 3 different homicides, each with different scenarios, evidence, witnesses, suspects and motives. You are able to switch between Goren's available cases at will and return to them when ready. Then, a 4th murder occurs which brings to light a much larger plot connecting them all.

The game features a point-and-click interface, 3 difficulty levels (which control the amount of helpful hints you receive), a travel map, inventory objects to collect and use, as well as over 50 speaking non-player characters.
