Remember when war was hell? Those were the good old days. Command & Conquer The Covert Operations mission disc confirms all that. And, it gives us an introduction for Command & Conquer Red Alert with it's really thirsty animation. Who ever said there were too little and to easy missions in Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn. Well, here are 15 new missions that are a total disaster for beginners in RPGs. If you never played a one, don't start with this one, 'cuz you'll never want to play any other again (including this one). It's hard, impossible to finish, and you're always in a messy situation at start. But, there are some advantages; you can find a slightly modified animation rewards, and you have a couple of new units, like poison gas infantry that can move over Tiberium, and a big two-rockets trucks that are specifically made for infantry dessapearance. About two years after this mission pack came, Westwood made it also for GOLD edition, and in there, you can play all those new units in multiplayer mode, so it's quite well designed, and graphic in GOLD version is a little more better than in Command & Conquer Red Alert. You get 10 new multi player arenas for network and modem play, and new soundtrack that can be played on your hi-fi.
But, do not forget that you must own the original Command & Conquer game to play this product. I guess that goes for all add-ons. Well, are you giving up, or will you finish this war once and for all?
